Haso's SOLAR pick of the week

Solar Records, the once powerhouse of west coast disco and RNB churned out massive hits through it's hayday that span from early 70-s through early 90-s. Stars such as Shalamar, Calloway and Lakeside all resided on the thriving label and this is my humble tribute to the legacy of Solar and the music that came from the label.


Today I give you the magnificent "Midas Touch" by Midnight Star, one of Solar's biggest groups ever. The single is taken from their 1986 album "Headlines" and is still a massive floorfiller.
